Wonderful and Wacky Weather

Hello and welcome to our very own Blog page! Over the next few weeks week will be working as a class to learn all about weather in our latest science unit “Wonderful and Wacky Weather!” and we will update our blog with all the interesting things we learn!
So why are we learning about weather? I’m glad you asked! We are aiming to become weather experts so that at the end to this term you can all your five minutes of fame and become weather reporters for people going on holidays! Below is a set out of what you will need to know so that you can have the best report possible!
Challenge
You are to choose a city, in any country in the world to do your weather report on.  When you have decided your city you are to make a mind map of all the things to do in that city, this could be visit famous landmarks, taking tours of museums or even going to the beach! Make sure you research things to do in your city for all types of weather. Once you have done this you need to research what season your country is in, look at previous temperatures and weather conditions and create your own weather report for people who are on holidays!
